ものづくりやアートに関わる人々が活動しやすい環境づくりを目指し、陶芸家の鈴木公人さんと似顔絵屋のてづかまよさんがスターとさせたユニット、プロペラ商店。ています。そんな二人と製作したのは、深い山々に囲まれた、小国町で見た緑が鬱蒼と生い茂る夏や、モノクロームの雪の世界となる冬の最上川の水面の色から着想した川色の器。移り変わる季節の川の表情を織りなす器です。
Potteries of river-surface-water – collaborated with an artistic duo PUROPERA SHOUTEN, their studio is on the foot of Satoyama Mountain. Inspired by the seasonal changes of Mogami River (the biggest river in Yamagata), their potteries decorated with beautiful colors like shimmering river surface.
